Back when my collection focus included, "Any cool LARGE transformers", I picked up an Ultimate Class OP, under the ROTF title on the box. It's a smaller movie Prime, but when I saw he came with a trailer I bought him instantly (well, he did go on sale a few weeks later of course, lol). Anyway, he's still in the box and along with all my other movie guys still in box, I noticed that even though it says DOTM on the front, there's a little graphic on the back with the modern "Transformers: Prime" logo. Then I got to looking a bit closer at the Prime in the box, and lo, he does kinda look to me a bit more like the TF:Prime version of Optimus over the movie prime (not a huge difference, and maybe I'm out to lunch as I don't follow the newer cartoons). The truck and trailer look fine, but for all I know maybe this Ultimate Prime isn't supposed to represent Prime from DOTM?...perhaps? I'm probably wrong on this as his alt mode is pretty darn close to ROTF Prime as well.
...and how could I have picked that guy up so easily, yet MP10 was such a debacle?
I'll never forgive myself!
Plus, they even cost the same at retail. I'm pretty sure there's plenty more Ultimate Primes out there than MP10s.
But I digress! What do you guys think?
