Re: Advice for a newbie dealer

Congrats on the move Teruro. Last year was my first.

A couple of suggestions but you already seem to have things under control...

*Breathe* - there will be an onslaught of people who will rush you. But there all lull times where you get to go pee.

People do steal. It happens. People stole parts from my $1 bin. :P

Baggies are good - might not be as showy - but maybe for your nicer figures and you want to avoid people playing with your figures like they are rubix cubes -and then putting it back, than you might want to consider it.

Dont close up shop. Respace your figures. If you're absolutely empty -and this is something you might want to ask the overlords of the show - see if your neighbour might want to borrow some space?

In regards to the dealers - i find it as unspoken etiquette to say hi to all the dealers and see how busy they are before pilfering through their stock. Everyone's gonna be a bit edgy during the setup time -but once they're set up -it's usually eazee-peezee.
