Question Custom Devastator

I am considering getting Supreme Devastatot but I haven't decided yet.

But if I get him, I may actually paint him to give him a bit of accuracy in terms of vehicle and robot parts.

This is my first time doing this, and I've been researching for decent paints.

I'll get a couple of Testors paints for metal parts & small parts.

I may add some wires on Scavenger's arm & Hightower in order to make it more realistic. But
I need to know which strings to use.

I may use Krylon Fusion spraypaint, but I can't seem to find colors that match Scrapper & Rampage. Also, do I have to spraypaint different parts of each vehicle in vehicle form & leg/arm/head form for each?

Also, what kind of tape do I use so that I don't accidentally spray areas that I don't need to spray. I've heard that blue tape works.

Please give me some advice. Give me a few starters so I don't screw up.

Re: Custom Devastator

I have used the blue painters tape but I find that no matter how well you rub down the edge you still get bleeding. you can get sheets of Acetate masking for painters (hobby not house) at Michael's or Curry's art supply that works very well and is easier to get just where you want it.
