They had on pair of Sailor Jerry's there last time I went, but wrong size good rum too!
Got a bottle for my birthday last year. Not a huge rum drinker but I was rockin' the rum and Cokes way more than usual...it's reallly that good!

Oh yeah. I once found the 100th anniversary limited edition gold Converse at DT Winners for $50. I rocked them at a few concerts and got a lot of comments from girls and gays alike, but like all Converse, they fell apart after 2 years...

Nice! That would be pretty sweet to bust those out for concerts. But yeah, they never do last too long. My Chuck boots are doing alright but of course the rubber seperates from the leather where my foot bends, like it always does with Chucks or Vans.

I haven't really had any shoes last more than 5 years if I wear them regularly, but then I don't own very many nice shoes. Hopefully a couple of the current pairs will do a bit better, because I like them. I plan to get my Timberlands resoled if I can.

Anyone here been down for Black Friday across the border last year, or before? Just curious how early do you recommend to get to the border in the morning? Right now, I'm planning to be there just before 7am tomorrow.

i recommend you to go tonight if possible, since a lot of stores will open all the way through tomorrow night. i can't imagine the border wait tomorrow morning no matter how early you go.

Yeah...my co-worker's wife and her friends go down the day before, and go scope out the stores, confirm locations of the items they want, get flyers and then plan out strategy and timing. But of course these ladies are hardcore :P

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

I'm actually not going down for the actual sales. This is more of the usual trip down me and friend do every couple months. We didn't know it was Black Friday weekend, when we booked our hotel earlier in the month, lol. Anyways, I'm aware it will be stupid crazy. My only main concern is the border in the morning. I don't want to get stuck there for over an hour.

Ah...lol. Yeah, I think you're going to hit a pretty good lineup at the border most of tomorrow I would think.
