Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
The 576s are made in Cumbria, England in the olde worlde fashion by grown men. They are usually made of finer leather too. Definitely not the sweatshop type run by little people in China or Indonesia.

Reminds me of the Luke Skywalker Bespin Fatigue jacket I had through my Star Wars fan club membership. I wore that kick-ass jacket from the moment I got it to the day I outgrew it and it began to fall apart two years later.
Ahhh....memories.

NB are for real serious runners! They have a rich history in running and marathon.

Probably teased him because they weren't Nike, Adidas or Reebok. Because that's what kids do. They're jerks.
Damn, that Luke Jacket would've been sweet. Hipsters would've loved my wardrobe as a kid. Neon trucker caps, ugly 90s colorblock jackets... later on, kind of an outdoorsy look that's totally in right now. I always felt like the poor kid with the lame clothes and wanted to fit in with all the tracksuit-wearing 'cool kids'...haha, they can keep their Nikes and Umbro pants now, I'll take my hiking boots and green parka, thanks.

Yeah, I'm so glad I managed to get the first release. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't gold. It's just too much.

Yep, those fuckers were terrible. What's worse is how I eventually succumbed to peer pressure and devolved into just another Asian gangbanger wannabe in Air Jordan 3's by grade 10. Nowadays I keep it simple and rock Dorky Rockports 9 to 5, then Chuck Taylors, Blundstones and double soled Dayton Black Beauties in the evening and weekends.
