Re: Help understanding Masterpieces
I forget who originally posted this but it gives a good idea of scale. Scale really only applies to robot form according to Shogo Hasui and only from MP-09 onward. But still, why couldnt we have had a better scale MP-08 Grimlock. It would have made him perfect. But I'm just glad I have one. I'm sure it was probably due to budget constraints. Here's hoping for a better scale Grimlock and MP-05 Megs. One day...in my dreams

Re: Help understanding Masterpieces
I'm pretty sure this is the scale sheet they are using for the MP line. This sheet was first introduced to us in the first MP-Lambor display.

Re: Help understanding Masterpieces
^I love that they show Macross-mold Jetfire on that chart rather than his animation counterpart Skyfire. If we are talking about scale inconsistencies then he's the all over the map in the G1 cartoon.

Re: Help understanding Masterpieces
I'm thinking either he will be less and the stores are just listing a price that has no merit OR He will be packed in with Cliffjumper.

Re: Help understanding Masterpieces
Or maybe he'll come packed with add-ons that'll make him look like his Cybertronian vehicle mode too.

Re: Help understanding Masterpieces
I don't think that there has been any official conformation that BB WJ and UM are actually coming out other than BBTS putting up the listings and other sites following them, Takara has not even whispered anything that this is true how far along they are or any of that MP lambor had test shots and hyped up photo shops I would say it is almost safe to say that they are not going to release concrete info until the Datsun Mold has seen the three releases and even then they can coast until G2 lambor comes out so until I see something official I will say that no one truly knows who will be next I am thinking UM but we will see.
Robotkingdom has not put up the pre-orders yet so would rely on BBTS as RBK will only put up pre-order if it is a for sure thing

This is 100% true. While BBTS, TFSource, and other retailers are usually pretty accurate with their info, there has been no confirmation from Takara directly, which means anything can change, including mold and price. You also have to remember that the varying value of the Japanese Yen will determine final pricing.
