Re: Platinum Predaking @ TRU.ca

to select usps or other shipping options with bbts go into your shipping options when ordering.

you dont need to ask them anything.

Re: Platinum Predaking @ TRU.ca

Here's how it *should* go if someone in Ontario were to buy it from BBTS:

Price: $119.99
USPS Air Mail option to Canada: $25.39
USPS processing fee: $10 (flat fee)
HST 13% in Ontario: $15.60
-----------------------------------
$170.98

As opposed to buying from TRU at $149.99 + 13% HST = $169.49

Also with BBTS, your credit card's exchange rate on the $119 + $25.39 going usd->cdn dollars may add a couple cents on the dollar.

Re: Platinum Predaking @ TRU.ca

I'm not close enough to the border to make it a worthwhile expense, although I do have some friends in the States that I could ship to...hmm, that might net me a US Metro as well, lol.

As I might not be here over the holidays, I don't want to miss out the TRU bots in case they a) sell out or b) ship and I'm not there to pick it up. For some reason, the local shippers only hold onto items for about 15 days and then ship it back. Lame, I know.

Spot on! You clearly have a very good understanding of the Canadian customs system.

Does anyone know if he's actually in stock and ready to ship at BBTS?
Yes, I got mine weeks ago.

If this ends up on store shelves soon than I'm very tempted to pass on MP Soundwave for this guy.

I'm going to have to stretch some dollars, but I'll have to figure out how to score both. I'm hoping for a TRU sale 'just in time'!

But I may pull the trigger on SW a lot sooner, as at his price, he'll go faster than Predaking. That price tag for Predaking is really going to target only a niche group, IMO. And unless the production numbers are low, he'll still be around by the time a nice Christmas sale shows up. I can't say the same for Soundwave, though...but with three big bots for Christmas (including those planning on picking up Metroplex), there's lots to choose from. That might also play to our benefit, with more stock around when the price is right.

I just don't wanna get left out on these, lol.
