I still cannot get excited over these movies, is Bay really the best they could get for these movies???? I would have preferred Spielberg helming the franchise with it being produced by Dreamworks. The new title is almost as bad as "The phantom menace". They should just use TF3.

Dark of the moon is what you get when Bay decides that he should be artsy-fartsy.. when the show's targeted towards teens and children.. Coming from the perspective of an 18 year old.. Calling it TRANSFORMERS 3 would make things a lot more epic.

Just today, while mentioning that the 3rd movie of the series is called "[The]Dark of the moon".. They're like.. Twilight? O_o

Guys you have to look at it this way, we have one wonderful and I mean wonderful thing going on in films that might save the next few transformers movies. The Green Lantern Movie. That movie, for better or worse, is going to be a pure action adventure movie run on CG. It'll have entire sections of cast that are computer generated with few humans. If it is as big a success as people expect then studio execs can say to Michael Bay "We want more CG characters and CG environments, do it" so we might, might get a movie where a good portion of it is on a converted base like say the dark side of the moon,

And I don't care what anyone says, a base on the dark side of the moon is so 80s.

That has nothing by cybertronian tech on it. Studio execs will insist on mirroring successful movies.

That's just my guess.
