I'm waiting until I get MP Laserwave in hand to make a final judgment but like Rev I'm currently liking Quakwave more.

I don't care that he doesn't have a trigger and I prefer his big bulky legs over the thin spindly ones on the MP and the MP's tiny foot concerns me.

However I do have MP Laserwave on pre order and like I said I'm waiting to have him in hand before making a final judgment.

I have both on preorder, MP Laserwave and FT Quakewave reissue. QW will be in gun mode permanently on one of those custom stands. Laserwave will be my bot mode since I find the colour and look to be more cartoon accurate. I'm interested to finally see all the hype about QW and compare the two side by side.

+3 here. I also feel the proportions are done better on Quakewave between torso and just construction of his legs and feet are fuller/more stable than what Takara has done with theirs.

The only thing that I like about the official Shockwave over Quakewave is that his barrel lights up purple.

Color-wise, nobody has gotten it just right in my eyes. Quakewave has a little to much red maybe in their shade of purple. Takara's version has too much white, making him look more lavender than the richer purple I think he should have.
