Universe/Henkei Prowl vs CW Prowl

Classics all the way! I like the modern stuff to look as close to G1 as possible.

I've never had any of these three myself. And I gotta say, from just looking at the photos, if all three toys were the same price and the same availability, then based solely on aesthetics alone, I prefer the Henkei one.

Granted as I already said in my original post, MP-17 Prowl is the definitive Prowl. Just my DeLorean isn't working and I can't get it up to up to 88 mph to go to the future to get my Masterpiece Jazz. (Oh wait I don't have a DeLorean! doh! )

Classics cause Henkei has those gaudy chrome. CW wasn't even a contender.

Now if we're talking about Mirage and Wheeljack, I might have the opposite pick. No still don't like the gaudy henkei chrome. CW however nailed both characters.

I had decided to skip out on combiner wars Prowl but after looking at pics of him more, I've decided to get him now.

I wasn't going to get cw Prowl because he didn't have the car door wings in robot mode. However, the Idw comics have made me more forgiving about how characters look because you see things like Armada Starscream beside Generations Rattrap or Megatron beside Galvatron. I'm OK if cw Prowl doesn't have the door wings.

Another pro for cw Prowl is he looks like he can bench press more than classics Prowl. The silhouette just looks more modern, more stronger. And cw Prowl can combine, a gimmick I like.

There is no comparison, Classics all the way. CW is just another character painted to look like Prowl with his head.

Classics/Henkei for me, Prowl needs his door wing and his missile launcher and his rifle gun. CW lacks all 3 of them. Wheeljack on the other hand, is a better G1 representation compared to the Universe Wheeljack
