Re: Display shelves

This might sound unorthodox but I always look in the dumpster behind the mall on my way in to the comic shop. I have found so many clear polycarbonate displays it isn't funny. Sometimes it's just one and sometimes it's 20 of the same. I have a pretty good assortment now though. Free

I will take a pic of them later and post it here.

Re: Display shelves

I use 2x4s cut and wrapped in wrapping paper or painted but mine are displayed on utility shelves not detolfs. I hate having my collection behind glass.

Hey have you ever thought about building dioramas for displaying your tf?

I was right into it last winter but all mine were made for 3.75" figures, which I guess would almost scale with MP.

I was planning on buying more stuff to do some dios for these guys and doing toy photography again

That's really creative. Going to have to do that for my micron collection.

I use these store display risers for my kidrobot figures. A bit pricey though

Seen these at Winners too.

Another thing I did was piece together risers from using cheap single photo displays and glass frame inserts I found at Dollarama. Here's an example of it in my collection. It's a real economical way to split your Detolf in half but still keep the Detolf look. It's hard to tell but if you look towards the back you will notice the photo displays on their sides with the glass laying on it. And since the single photo displays are clear, they are hardly noticeable.

Here's an example of the using the same idea but only splitting part of the Detolf. I also use the Dollarama acrylic trays. I find Detolfs are great to display a collection but there is much wasted space in the vertical direction above the glass.

Re: Display shelves

That's really clever with the photo displays, very efficient
