this bot was built on the side while paint on other fun stuff has been drying.in total it only took 2 days on and off to make.it actually took longer to paint him than to gut him/mod him/butcher him
sacrificed are a junker g1 twintwist,tftm07 wreckage for the arms and classics astrotrain for the upper thighs.both of his lower legs used to have giant hollow cavities inside which are now filled with shortstrand fiber glass just for extra lower body weight.his neck joint is also salvaged from astrotrain.base sprayed with automotive matte black enamel, then drybrushed with tamiya acrylics, finally coated with krylon satin/matte clearcoat.i may end up doing something to help fill in his calves a bit in the future.i just can't decide what to do therehis gun is made fom a ko g1 prime rifle that's been heavily modded.his shoulder mounted rocket pods are from cybertron defense force hotshot and can be flipped up in tank mode too.
with the original stock brick.

I think you mean the Decepticon Battlechargers (spring up auto-Transformation). Definitely the Jumpstarters looked better as robots and had more posable playability. And their gimmick really involved a 'jump' !
The Battlechargers may have looked better in alt mode for fans who enjoy alt modes that look like real cars in our time.

I thought about that too. Is it because the gritty black on gray look makes him look cool, but on white it would make him look dirty?
