But it says the product won't be deliver until October. Do you still get free shipping to order now?

Yes, as far as I can tell. I just pre-ordered a half dozen items, all with different shipping dates, and I was not charged shipping. However, because they are just starting out as a business, they don't have much liquid capital so you do have to pay right away rather than once the item is in stock. He has been answering questions here:

I see.. in that case I rather wait. I don't feel like paying months ahead.. I don't like risking my hard earned money..
