Nah, definite pass. If you have the original, get the transform dream wave upgrade set and it will make your Abominus look a thousand times better than this.

I think this looks nice! I realize 3P upgrades can be cheaper, but I tend to be a sucker for official releases.

Given that this will probably roll for three hundro canadian like Volcanicus, it's definitely nowhere near worth the extra cost for a new paintjob. It isn't even THAT different from the retail release. The POTP hands/feet were already better than the regular CW ones, so it's not like it's a hyooge upgrade. The chest is nice, but frankly, he was already among the best CW style combiners out there...

I'm not a 3p guy but as was already pointed out, there are some great upgrade kits if you need them and you'll still be paying far less.

Full PotP set was less than half the price of these re-releases.


At $300 you would be better off buying a giant paint set from vallejo and starting up customizing as a hobby to retouch your already owned figures.
