I just ordered scorponok from megalopolis for 164.99 USD...just under 220 CAD at my visa exhange rate.

Free shipping.

I was refreshing TRU all the time and got sick of waiting so went online and feel like I got a deal.

But what about the Customs fee? megalopolis is in US, so cross border might get custom import tax, right?

I almost followed you, but I searched on TFW2005 and saw all kinds bad stories about megalopolis, I decided to just wait.

Saw those too but almost all of them were from pre orders.

I put up with a lot of bad stick handling at my local mom and pop TF shop too so maybe I'm a little more amenable to that type of BS from smller entities.

I emailed them before purchasing to ensure they had stock.

Will update if things go awry.

Yeah, exactly. Trypticon was available for how long at BBTS for $60 USD?

I think about this in the context of “wait for the sale” TF fans that led them to crowdfund Unicron. They finally got a sense of how many fans will actually pay $$$ for a TF.

Anyways Scorp will be my 2nd Titan, after Devastator. Will go nicely with my Encore Fort Max, I think. I got my 20% TRU raincheck I intend to use.
