a bit far but well worth the drive as his prices are usually the cheapest in bc or canada. ask for minesh. hes a good guy. he runs the toy section as he shares the store with his dad. hence the name jay's clocks. they carry an aray of toys ranginf from japanese to north american stuff. jsut ask for what you need and hell tell you if he has or if he can stock it.

From Kits to South Surrey? Holy crap that's far! Hopefully it was worth the trip.

As for Beans, I only go out of my way there if I'm looking for a specific item. Usually I just call and the guy is pretty good about telling me if it's in stock. The prices aren't bad, although they are a tad bit higher than A3U.

This is a great thread. Someone should have done this a long time ago. (or maybe someone did and I just missed it, haha).

Beans is on the third floor of Aberdeen Centre in Richmond (where the most confused drivers are).

We should form some sort of toy hunting tours since most of us visit here and there for toys anyway.

Aberdeen centre is here.

I haven't seen an Alternator in months. Last time I saw one was back in November at the Zellers in Surrey Central of all places. Which reminds me, their TF selection sucks there, but every once in a while, they have a few jems like alternators. Sometimes old stock crops up, and there is hardly any kids in there most of the time so stock tends to sit around.

Amen to that...I stumbled upon not one but 2 Classics Jetfires at the Richmond Zellers in November. I only bought one and revelled in the satisfaction that I didn't give in to my scalper side and buy them both.

Then I got in my car and prayed I wouldn't get into an accident with a "confused Richmond driver" (again, I'm allowed to say that about since I'm Asian too ). Kinda like F.U.B.U.

Re: Vancouver Store Recommendations

Yah we should make some store list of the different store that sell transformer from good prices to outrageous. Most people don't shop online unless you are looking for stuff you can't get in stores.

In Richmond there is also 1 Zellers and Toys R Us in the Lansdowne mall

Lansdowne Centre - 604-270-1344
100-5300 No. 3 Road , Richmond , BC V6X 2X9

As others have pointed out A3U is in Metrotown New store more products!
Some of the best places to stop by in Richmond no doubt.

Crystall Mall in Burnaby next to Metrotown has some toy stores too.

This maybe quite the drive but if you're feeling adventerous check out:

Toy Traders: #150-19888 Langley Bypass, Langley BC, V3A 4Y1, 604-532-9516

Great used TF's for sale from G1 and up. They have an wicked layout of GI Joe, Star Wars, Marvel figs through out the store.

Re: Vancouver Store Recommendations

Miasboytoy and I used to do TF Hunting on Saturdays and do a tour of Langley for Toy Traders, TRU, etc, to Surrey Jay's Clocks, to Richmond almost every store mentioned all in one day
