I don't think there's a single non-hollow part, it's like they were afraid to use any plastic.
I've bought dollar store robots that are better plastic.
In robot mode, he does hold fairly well, but the plane mode, the arms and legs barely fit, if not for additional pegs, the legs would pop out or hang loose.
The mold/plastic is so cheap that looking at the top of the wings, you can see distortion in the plastic where the peg-holes are on the other side.
I'd be deathly afraid to drop it as if feels like it would shatter like a thin piece of glass. Compared to the original (Macross) Jetfire, I could use that one to bang nails in wood, this one, I'd be afraid to mix jello with it (ok, that's possibly a bit much, but not by that much)
I've actually been debating returning it and getting my money back, and for me to say such a thing as transforming planes are my absolute favorites, is just wrong.
