TF Movie Pricing in Canada??
Just wondering if people know what the price for the movie will be in canada.
So far all I could find was HMV
Special Edition 42.99

Wal-mart.ca has a listing for the single disk, but it doesn't have a price.
Anyone care to share some info on where we can get the best price?

If you search for "transformers 2007" on the www.futureshop.ca and www.bestbuy.ca they have the prices for the different versions of the movie.
Looks like single disc is only about $20ish and the 2-disc one is under $30 for standard releases.
Not sure what the best price will be since I already got suckered into buying the Future Shop steel case one and the Best Buy exclusive one.

Many stores have the single disk advertised for $19.99 or so on the first day. Zellers has it in their flyer. Because Walmart has the add on it may be more like $25 there.

I am still wondering if the steel case version comes with the 2 disc version and it's artwork or is packed in the steel case...
Argh I know for sure i'm buying the Wal-Mart edition cause it's artwork for the single disc is included...but i'm torn between bestbuy and future shop...dammit I want the 2 disc artwork AND the steel case LOL

More specials for the single disc:
-Loblaws $19.98 and get 10x points
-Zellers $19.97 (Tuesday only) and get a $10 gift savings card (with conditions)
-TRU $?? and get a $5 gift card, and
- Shoppers Drug Mart $19.77 or free when redeeming 11,300 Optimum points (approx. $19)
Too bad I want the 2 disc special (most likely Best Buys).

I think the Zellers card can only be used to buy TF merchandise, I just saw it on TFW2005 in this thread.

Edit: I stand corrected. You can only use the card for Transformers merch, be it clothes, toys, stickers or whatever. Thats Kinda lame, still $10 is $10. As for Superstore you get 10 points for each dollar I think so about 2000 points for the movie. 20,000 points gets you $20 so they are basicly offering up $2. Zellers is definitly ahead of Loblaws/Superstore.
