I have had the head break off on mine, fortunately I fixed it up with a bit of glue.

The other issue I've had with vortex is the arms, the parts that snap onto the ball joints (the green sockets) broke apart of the arms on mine.

Fortunately I found a junker and swapped out the parts.

If you want to talk about poorly designed...I would mention Sinnertwin, they almost always have broken heads.

It only need the head if you make him a leg. If you have him form the arm(which is his "official" spot) his head is covered by his arms and the peg that folds out of his chest is used to connect him.
