Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

had a good haul today after work,
RTS BIS, Legends TrailBREAKER, Prowl
PCC Grimstone and Steamhammer 5 packs.

if you get the grimstone set, you should also track down the the "classics minicon swoop" he has the same colour scheme and he looks great as Grimstones' backpack/wings...kinda like Predaking...on a smaller scale, lol.
A great PCC figure, I actually like the combined form better than Bombshock right now.
1.Grimstone
2.Bombshock aka Bruticus minor
3.Steamhammer aka Devastator
4. Cankcase with Camshafts drones (Menasor)

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

I was checking my mail this morning and the delivery guy was just getting ready to drive away when I literally ran to bang on his window and get my packages! Imagine the horror of having to wait 1 more day.....

I'll update my sales list tonight or tomorrow.

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

First Transformers Haul in a while, reporting to you live from Scrapper6's Bedroom. (I love home renovations that force people to move family computers to more accessible locations. )

PCC Sledge/Throttler from Superstore during their sale. I must admit I do find myself wishing to afford more at that sale price though, I've missed my TF fix. LEGO and My Little Pony can appeas for a time, but TFs has been in the collecting since childhood type of collecting mentality and so I really, really need to play catch up. Generations, HftD, and PCC you must all come to me.

I doubt I'll be collecting anything from Prime or even DotM though, two movie lines are enough for this collector, I may (STRESSING MAY) get new characters from the third film in some form, but that is still up for debate. I want to get back to filling holes in my G1-Animated/RotF collections and always getting everything from one year to the next is beginning to put a damper on the fun aspect of TF collecting.

ANYWAY... Really digging the PCC Sledge figure, he's a solid scout sized Transformer and his Mini-Con partner is a neat looking drill weapon. Plus at 6$ each from Real Canadian Superstore, you just can't be beat.

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

United Wreck-Gar and Perceptor in the mail yesterday!

Wreck-Gar, more like United Sloppy Paint Job... His entire moustache is covered in the white used for the teeth! >.>

Swapping parts between United and RTS Perceptor is proving harder than once thought... The Chrome bits won't come off the RTS version. There is a huge pin on the chest piece, though I am not sure if I wanna replace that piece anyway, the silver paint does look nice!

If Takara just painted the bits that Hasbro used Chrome on, it would look good!

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

Finally found Blurr. Got Perceptor & Wreck-Gar as well. Me and another Edmonton dude went in together on some BBTS stuff... a case of Kup, Scourge, Thundercracker & Wheeljack just went from pre-order to in stock. Debating waiting on the last thing on pre-order or just shipping that pile o'loot.

Oh yeah and picked up Battle in Space a few weeks back.
