Re: Movie Talk (Possible Spoilers)

I watched Dracula Untold last night with the wifey. I enjoyed it. Only complaint is it was too short. Hopefully an extended version will be released. Funny thing was all I could think about during the movie was Bard!!! (Hobbit guy played Dracula)

Re: Movie Talk (Possible Spoilers)

I watched Interstellar yesterday. I like it but then again I am a fan of Nolan's films, so I knew his style and complex intervening plot.

Too bad I missed first few minutes. The theatre was jam packed and my friend who pre-ordered the tickets was running late.

^seems like and interesting plot. Will check out. I like space exploration type movies. Mission to Mars, Gravity, Contact all make you think what's out there.

Re: Movie Talk (Possible Spoilers)

Gonna actually get out to watch a movie this Friday night.

Of my choices, which would you recommend?
  • Interstellar in IMAX
  • John Wick
  • Birdman
I guess the real question is what mood will I be in?

Quasi-cerebral space exploration

vs.

Mindless shoot 'em up

vs.

Artsy "life imitates the movies" flick with great reviews.

I'd go for Interstellar. Same guy directed Inception, which was quite the trip. I bet it will look phenomenal on the big screen IMAX.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy tonight. Couldn't watch more than 1 hour before I had to turn it off. I want my hour back lol.

Went & seen "Dumb & Dumber 2" .... or To .... or Too or whatever you want to call it.

Neway definitely recommended if your looking for some good stupid laughs. I'd have to say it was a little better than the original. Overall 8.5 out of 10.

Better than first? That's a bold statement. I'm going on Tuesday. Can't wait!

Maybe it's a little exaggerated statement because I just got back from the theater but I laughed a lot through-out the movie.
