Takara Tomy Mall site Japan only exclusive, limited to 2000 pieces. Preorders have opened, March 26 - April 10. Limit 10 pieces per person/entity/order. Preorders will close if the 2000 limit is reached regardless of the date. If preorders close on April 10 with stock left over, they have not decided whether or not they will extend the preorder time. 7992 Yen, release date August 1.

...so this begs the question where us collectors outside Japan will be able to order this. Even if the usual online sources get a hold of some, since they're limiting order amounts, this is going to be really limited and will be expensive.

Nope. Don't really care about the Diaclone repaints although it's cool that they are doing it. The unfortunate thing is that they're making it a limited release which will only make it extremely difficult to obtain for those who actaully want it. I hate limited exclusives for that reason.
