Re: Taking advantage of others

Just saw a fanstoys Bombshell for $300? I know these bugs are the best but really?! I felt this was a long overdue addition for this discussion. While on topic of FT, Phoenix is beyond overpriced with no worth while additions to justify the increase . I love that figure but there’s no real engineering that hastak hasn’t done before.

Re: Taking advantage of others

I think these scalpers are also banking on the fact that these figures will be difficult to find in other regions outside North America and Asia, and collectors outside these regions just accept the fact they pay more.

Pretty much everything aside from Food and Toilet Paper are a luxury item

So if you are willing to pay the inflated price then that's up to you and your impatience.

Otherwise, just sit at home, enjoy what you have and wait for a reasonable price.

He can sit on that lol. Anyone who buys from scalpers deserve to lose their money.

I hate scalpers but I will play Devil's Advocate here. To ship that to the States would be about $30CAD so it's not QUITE as bad since they're offering free shipping.

They are expensive, but that's because they are worth that much to due to the aftermarket. Phoenix is, without a doubt, more superior to anything that Hastak has ever made, period. It's a $400 figure (and you can still get him for that price or cheaper if you look), but because of the paint, build quality, size and engineering, that makes it worthy of that price.

Just supply and demand. Fanstoys can go 5X original price once supply dries up and no reissues are announced. Tesla (not perceptor) skyrocketted on the secondary market but recently they announced a 2.0 version which should bring the price down drastically.

Pay what you're willing to pay but I always try to be patient

Lupus in another example. I don't think anyone is taking advantage of anyone. If people are willing toi shell out all the extra $$$ because they can't wait then that onus is on them
