this was a nice read to put a smile to my face after a loooooong friday!!

two words......"EPIC FAIL"

here i was growing up my whole life thinking g1 prime was a coe.(cab over engine),and the bluestreak one really shows the intelligence level of the authors of this "complete" infografic.
i wonder if they realized that back in the 70's and early 80's,there was no such branding as "nissan".it was "datsun" back then,
good thing they researched everything before they released this.

Sorry but you are wrong on this one. As Lexus is to Toyota in North America... Same with Nissan. It was indeed Nissan in Japan and Datsun in North America. Over time they obvious fazed out Datsun and Infiniti is now the name of their Japanese Market.

i honestly never knew that back in the day datsun was nissan in japan.
i grew up loving 240's and 510's and was so sad when datsun dissappeared herein the eighties,only to be replaced with nissan.

i just learned something new!!!!

Sometime in the 30's they actually started using the Nissan branding/logo and the original Datsun 240Z in japan was actually the Nissan Fairlady 240Z.

Only reason I'm aware of all this stuff is because I'm a Nissan enthusiast and have a turbo'd 240sx. But I've always wanted to get an old Datsun 240Z instead, gut it and then drop in a SR20DET and trick out the suspension system. But it would cost me a hell of a lot more then playing with the Nissan I already got.

I think the thing that pisses me off the most aside from all the mistakes and kitbash/fan art used is that they called Jazz's alt mode a 1983 Porsche 911 Turbo, the damn car is the legendary 1979 Lemans Porsche 935 Turbo that won the 1979 Lemans and beat Ferrari by 2 whole laps.



This car man......... this car is a legend in the racing world and Porsche Robot from Diaclone was graced with such history and power. That post..... calling it a 911 Turbo STREET CAR is a spit in the face of any race car driver.

That's a beauty! I don't know much about Lemans, but do they have more than one Car per team? I'm just curious if they actually had a #4 car or just #9?

Each team is allowed 2 cars, one had a #40 one had #9, in early production of the car it had a #4 but that number was later taken by another team (I believe Renault)



There he comes......... around the winning circle. Dirty, busted up (note the left fender quick fix), but after 24hours of tough racing....... a winner above all. Jazz should be fucken PROUD.

The closest to this would be G1 Smokescreen and his WRC Championship Datsun 280SX design. Which all comes full circle cause in 2005, Subaru won the WRC Championship and Smokescreen got that has his new body in Alternators/Binaltech. Funny how the world is huh?
