A tale of an aging TF fan.

So like all anal collectors I take pride in knowing what is where. I recently bought Unicron and thought it would be fun to pull all the minicons out of storage and stick them on his wings, etc.

I keep my tfs in storage bins, mostly by theme, G1, Beast Wars, Energon, Cybertron, you get the idea.

I tore open all the boxes and I can't find half the minicons I know I should have. I then proceeded to re organize the house, looking in every spot a minicon would fit to see if I absent mindedly hid them somewhere. Flower pots, closets, drawers, you name it; its all been given a once over.

Long story short, they were in my MIB G1 Prime's trailer. I must have moved that box a dozen times but because it was G1, I never opened it up. In the mean time I pulled out all the cybertron and energon toys with no luck.

I think I'm going senile and experiencing memory loss, or either I gots too much junk. It's just been ridiculously frustrating (this is on going for about 2+ weeks in my spare time) to know I have something but not have access to it.

Post your "I'm my own worst enemey" "i'm losing my mind" stories here.

I still can't find two of my targetmasters. I know I put them somewhere "safe" but do you think I can remember where? Nope. In any event, I know they're somewhere in my house. I"ll come across them, eventually...

Probably a good idea to keep a text file of the items you store it in. With small bots, you can probably fit them in some of those daily medicine containers.

Re: A tale of an aging TF fan.

I've been tearing my ( & my parent's ) basement/attic apart for years trying to find my G1 Roadbuster & Whirl. I have given up search efforts and have listed them as MIA. I have a sneaking suspicion that my cousin may have plundered them years ago.

However, now that I think about it, I'm almost positive they are packed away with PM Prime.....crap! Time to go TF spelunking again!

Re: A tale of an aging TF fan.

I have pre-TF Omnibot "Overdrive" Diaclone that I have not been able to locate. I swear I have seen it 5-6 yrs ago so I am pretty positive I still have it around but when I was packing for my move in the new year last year I didn't see it. And now with most of my collection in storage I have no hope to dig him out.

Another one is the antenna on the helmet of the pretender shell of my Metalhawk. Where the hack is it?
