Na, I dont really like the Toycon. The main exhibitor is toys on fire and all their shit is overpriced.

I much preffer the RetroExpo. Venue right near a metro, cheaper entry price, and more transformers at better prices (since the exhibitor fee is less). I scored a G1 Jetfire for 30$ there once, was very happy.

Just go in the morning, thats when all the good stuff is there. Spend an hour, get some good deals, and then go for brunch with your loved ones!

Back from ToyCon. It was pretty much a bust for me. I was looking for Masterpieces but there wasn't that much. Everything was overpriced which wasn't surprising but was still disappointed. 300$ for MP UltraMagnus. 145$ for MP Ratchet (not too bad). 500$ for Metroplex (ugh). Found one PoTP wave 2 Hun-gurr for 45$ which I kinda wavered on but figured I'd just be a bit more patient and wait for it to arrive in stores.

As for other MPs there was a Diaclone UM for 220$, several Hot Rodiumuses, G2 Sideswipe, MP36 Megatron for 300$-something.

Yeah, not the best place for deals!

Did find eight figurines for 11 bucks for the wife and kid so it wasn't a complete waste of time

The Toycon was not the best one i've been to. There were figures I wanted but they were tooooo expensive and lack of making deals, no purchase was made. I came out with a deluxe acid storm for cheap.
