Re: No more twist ties..
The old wire ties wouldn't bother me so much if they weren't twisted on by evil machines that somehow find ways to take the knot and turn it in on itself so you can't untwist it without breaking out the scissors. I swear, the robotic arms that seal these puppies are trying to enslave the toys in the boxes for all time...

This is why I like Japanese packaging...rarely do you have to deal with twist ties, just open, unseal the tape, remove the plastic and BOOM! You enjoy your new toy.

i support that idea so much, and that is so true!

Re: No more twist ties..
I don't find them useful since I gave up untwisting them and use a pair of side cutters.

They said they were looking into alternatives. Who knows what will happen from there.

Re: No more twist ties..
Well, considering the DAY BEFORE I opened my Scout two-pack I gashed my thumb open with a broken, hooked twist tie while opening Voyager Recon Ironhide, therefor getting some blood on Ironhide, I was HAPPY to see the string!
Gashed it right in the spot that holds writing utensils, types texts on my phone, etc... Ow >_<
