From pics he is borderline movie/classics.....he will be a great placeholder at worst. I'm stoked to see some reviews on this soon.

In all fairness, we've had a Taco Bell since Mapleview Mall expanded their food court a little while back. Nevertheless, I'm pumped about the TRU.

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

R.P.Ms Highway Patrol Barricade and Soundwave from Zellers. (I needed a TF fix and this was all I could afford.)

On the plus side I did get them cheap, on the minus side they aren't BOGO despite the fact that there ARE NO Transformers products priced at 1.99$ SO WHY ON EARTH DID ZELLERS EVEN DECIDE TO INCLUDE THAT PRICE POINT IN THEIR AD FOR THE BOGO FLYER/POSTER? I suppose I could have pressed the issue on the false advertising front, but in all honesty I could care less about getting one half price. I'm just glad I finally have more R.P.Ms. Their Speed Stars counterparts are sorely lacking in the collectability department.

Pretty much, scouts will now be known as commanders I believe while legends are now legion.

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

My girlfriend picked me up an HFTD Sideswipe. I'm not a fan of Bayformers but damn, this figure is soooooooo awesome! The soft plastic used for the flexible hoses/wiring or whatever is just so cool. The design of the figure, in general, was impressive to me as soon I put him in bot mode. Minus the 'door wings', I actually like this figure. Also, I wish they made a shoulder cannon for him as well. Although it seems quite 'excessive', I think Sideswipe without a cannon doesn't do the character and figures justice. Makes me wanna pick up Ironhide... Maybe.

She also picked up a Tuner Skids 'cause she got me Tuner Mudflap last year. Her reason was 'I couldn't let him be alone'. This, under plenty of other reasons, is why I love my girlfriend and the fact she can tolerate my TF's.
