Re: Listing Your Sold Toys
I don't know if anyone is upset (I'm certainly not), but sellers can think of it this way: here you've got feedback from potential customers on what they like and don't like. Sellers are absolutely free to tell said potential customers to like it or lump it. But the more potential customers one tells to go jump in a lake, the smaller one's pool of potential customers will be.
Thought exercise - let's assume:
- not listing prices = -20% potential customers
- keeping a cluttered and confusing (even frustrating) sales thread = - 10% potential customers
- no pictures = -5% potential customers
Etc.
In this case a seller who runs their thread how they like it ("get over it, potential customers") has every right to do so. But they will have X% fewer potential customers.
That's their right, it's their thread. But this sort of feedback just makes it known. I think some flexible sellers might appreciate such feedback, and may choose to change aspects of their thread to increase their pool of potential customers.
If not, they can ignore it. These aren't rules, they're just feedback.

These are good points. At the end of the day it's up to you how you want to run your sales thread but as someone who buys far more than I sell, I do hold some of the same opinions. Sales threads that don't list prices are insta-close for me. Threads with pictures are at least 50% more likely for me to spend the time to look at everything and come back to regularly.

It might help if you used a scale, with a legit news post at one end, and your rage-post about sideswipe dying in a comic book at the other.

That wasn't a rage post, it was just a post. You do know what Rage means right?
