Yes I got that in a package recently from BBTS. So no duty on collectibles shipped to Canada??

I'm on my 2nd round of doing that.

I had an order worth about $97 and got charged duty. The order needs to be way under $100 to avoid duty. $6X.xx is always safe.

No, Collectibles for your personal use are not subject to Duty.
You tear off the receipt, on the back are instructions on how to request a refund.
Send the receipt with the letter in and they'll refund you.

How does that work? Do you take the letter to Canada Post or Canada Customs directly and explain the misclassification? Over the phone?

The duty slip on the package can be torn off.
On the back of it is a form and instructions on disputing the duty charges.

Send in the letter from BBTS with the correct check box checked (misdeclared commodity) and they should respond within a few weeks.

Yah I'm kind of sick of CP's hit or miss on this.
If I was importing this for re-sale I could understand but this is for personal use/gift.

Re: Post Your Transformers Hauls - 2013 edition

In the mail today I got the Kre-O Mech Venom Strike set, the one with Windcharger and the snake, and GIJoe Series 2-Season 2 dvds.

If anyone wants the Kre_o set it's on sale on the site for $5.57. The shipping is pretty fast too. I ordered it on Wednesday and it got here today!
