Here here! I don't mind discussion in the sightings thread either. An active member of the community taking part in discussion will come across valuable sightings information organically while keeping up with the discussion. A scalper who is less invested in the community will just see that as chaff and an annoyance that costs him valuable seconds to find the toys before the actual collectors. Anything that makes it harder for the scalpers seems like a win-win to me.

Originally it was a sightings only thread, then people bitched and moaned about too little sightings, and too much discussion.

So they decided to make it a combined sightings/discussion thread.

I guess it is a question of splitting the threads again, and again. I mean there was a sightings thread for each province, and now there is one for each online store. Someone started one for small independent retailers, etc. Etc.

It probably depends on your view of what the boards/threads should be, and your use of them.

That might make it easier for everyone, especially newer members to know all the different threads going on. It is a little hard to keep track of them all right now

I would say no. All those others are all national not provincial. Just leave things the way they are

My vote, create one massive thread and discuss everything in it, sightings, sales, discussions, polls, etc. I'm J/K, I don't mind discussion in sightings but YMMV.

I don't mind sightings related discussions in the sightings threads. Its when it starts getting off that topic that it gets annoying. If you want to talk about random other stuff, there are other threads that are more appropriate for that.
