That's why I bought 2 items with sea shipping, , it seems their shipping calculation with UM won't increase with another small item. And $30 for shipping 1 big item + 1 small item is decent.

That is why call NY's shipping rate as shipping rape. Their shipping charge is easily 25% more than other Japanese etailers for the same service. Last I check NY is not shipping products with wooden crates.

Craziness to say the very least.

I don't think you can get MP31 UM for $80 anywhere in the provinces, it's listed 190 USD in major sites like TFSource or BBTS.

I just ordered MP-36 and 2-3 week shipping with tracking and ins was $34, reasonable for the size of the package. I would have gone with HLJ but the overall price was higher and they declare full value.

I went with 2-3 wks shipping w/o tracking...i like to live on the edge. Hehe

My last order with NY was for MP delta magnus. Shipping was 4700 yen originally for EMS.
NY came back and billed my pre-order for an additional 500 yen.

I asked them to honour the original charge but was unsuccessful.

Japan Post EMS cost went up by 500 yen in August, so it could be that increase. My Fort Max shipping estimate went up by 500 yen after August, that's before the additional shipping they charged when item become available.

Yes, it was shipped. It took them more than a week to ship my order, just received the noticed yesterday.
