Need some glass cut. Suggestions?
I need to get some glass cut for some cabinets. Anybody have any recommendations about where I should go? Should I just go to a big box store, or can I find a better deal elsewhere?
YAY CABINETS!
Edit: I just called Lowes and Home Depot and none of the locations in London even cut glass, so I guess that option's out.

Re: Need some glass cut. Suggestions?
Apple is good, I'd phone around to other independent glass shops. I worked at a little shop for a while, I was on the automotive side, but they specialized in cabinets and displays. They were very competitive with pricing, more often than not chaper with a better quality glass.

Haha, man. It is not my day. It looks like there's no Apple Auto Glass in London. I guess I'll be calling around. Thanks for the suggestions.

Just google auto window repair or the like. There has to be a place like AppleAutoGlass in London. Maybe call a local garage, just tell them you need a window repaired. They may have a suggestion or two.

Yeah, I ended up calling around. London has an Apple Auto Glass affiliate apparently, but I couldn't get a hold of them. I ended up going to a mom and pop glass specialty shop that was just around the corner from me. They charged me $44 after tax for four 13" x 11" shelves. Not sure if that's good or bad, but another place I called wanted $63. Oh well, I was willing to pay it and the end result was great.
The cabinet I bought it for was only $20 to begin with, so I still got a sweet deal. I'll post pictures in the collections section when I get everything set up.

Re: Need some glass cut. Suggestions?
Yeah the $60 range would still have been a decent price, depending on the thickness/type of the glass. So your purchase of the $40 range, is probly a good purchase.

Re: Need some glass cut. Suggestions?
go to a local signage shop and have them route out a chunk of clear lexan.way cheaper than the glass route and it's bullet proof depending on the thickness
