I don't know yet, they don't calculate shipping until the item is in stock unfortunately. SAL would be the cheapest shipping, but no tracking. EMS is also Post so shouldn't get hit by customs too hard. You just want to avoid FedEx because then they'll hit you with brokerage fees.

Good job. Once you get to know how much you can save from buying direct from Japan you'll never want to buy from an importer again. I mean as much as I wish to support local shops I just can't fight with my money. Even if you get dinged with duty you still save about 15-20% (Final cost of my MP-13 was just $190 after SAL shipping, tax and Canada Post handling fee)
The private warehouse of HLJ is great. They charge you the price of item when they have it in stock. You can store the item for up to 60 days and you can choose what to ship if you wish to combine shipping when the time suits you. Then they charge you for shipping separately. You can even see estimated shipping cost.
MP-17/18 package is small and light. It should cost no more than $15 per item to shipping with SAL. Again you can always play around with the shipping cost in your private warehouse.

It's looking that way, seems it could be a lot cheaper in the long run. I was initially reluctant because BBTS' preorder policy is so flexible but HLJ seems almost as good.
$27 for FoC Starscream not including shipping though, what's the average cost for them to ship a small package?

I just checked my private warehouse. if I just ship SS by itself using SAL, it's $780 yen or $9 cdn. But since I plan to combine shipping with other stuff the shipping cost per item will be much cheaper.
