I don't see anything wrong with the Hasbro people wanting to protect their intellectual property. I thought the con was about the toys and the people behind the franchise, not about all the illegal products you could buy during one and that you can get at any time online for less anyway.

I don't see any body saying it's wrong, just that it sucks as it takes away from their shopping experience at the show.

You sure? On TFW, it sounds like half the fandom is crying/pissed/outraged about it...

I'm going. So far, I'm only disappointed about the Artist Alley. That was one of my highlights from last year.

I don't think any reasonable person would say that Hasbro is wrong to want to protect their stuff. But their just being a little heavy handed about it (Artist Alley).

And if what Vangelus said was true on twitter, TakaraTOMY issue one day licenses in Japan for Artists and crafters for Wonderfest. That would be a great idea.

A lot of the complaints could probably have been alleviated had they given notice before people booked non-refundable air fair, hotel rooms and Botcon packages. That they no longer really want.

Either way I won't be going. Just costs too much money I would rather apply to my collection.

But I do plan to get to TFCon sometime in the near future hopefully.

I'm going, it'll be an interesting boton this year, that's for sure.

I'm glad that I got the chance to go last year for my first ever Botcon trip and got the whole experience. Wonder what the vibe will be like this year.
