The pan am games are the same weekend as tfcon and there is a bylaw requiring hotels to hold 60% of the rooms for that event, I don't know if it's for athletes and thier families or just he event in general.

If a ticket becomes available you will get an email with the option to buy a ticket. You should receive an email explaining that if you sign up for it.

Really? Hm. I guess I should have got a room while I could. Maybe more rooms will become available.

Just as an update to anyone else who still needs to make accommodations, I just checked the hotel's website this morning and the $109/night rate is back up. Didn't see a post here nor a tweet about it from TFcon's Twitter account, so FYI....
2/3 of the way there now...just gotta figure out how to afford the actual trip.

So for anyone who missed out on the Cullen autographs/photo ops and is in the area, he's gonna be at Calgary Expo in a few weeks.
A bit pricer than TFcon's autographs but still not too bad given there's also an included T-shirt and print. (Plus they have pretty good photographers at the event)
