What about a WFC inspired combiner?

Either way my vote's on either Monstructor or LioKaiser

Or, what about a combiner composed of the leaders of the combining special teams
Autobot- Silverbolt, Hotspot, Scattorshot, etc

I like the look maybe even bigger on top and smaller lower half to give him a more cartoony look. the hunch over look by putting the head over the big shoulders would be a nice touch.

Just an idea, but seeing how the SKP was an Ani Combiner from Cy.ca.
Maybe you guys might want to stay away from Animated altogether.

And I vote no for Predaking (mainly because I don't have time to be involved )

Actually NP makes a good point about the animated bit -maybe a Hearts of Steel combiner?
