i bought everything they had. i think there were 2 more, but someone bought them already. oh well. i always pass by value village. going to stop by tomorrow. they are not worth much, but cool to have.

i found a japan reissue powermaster prime sealed for $10. i still think i imagined it. lol. didnt even want it, but i couldnt pass on that. traded it to a appreciative member, didnt have the guts to make money off it.

found 3 more today. #3 was in a bag with another GI joe comic for 5.99! WTF, so i asked if they can just open it for me and sell it to me for 99 cents. first guy said no, but the cashier phoned up some guy to come over to the counter and he opened it for me.

you are so luck. ususally the 1st cashier said no and have to pay the price for the whole bag. Must be in the morning for those guys still working inside and able to come out to adjust the price.

well i asked the manager, he said no. then i told the cashier about the pricing. she said" wow really? np, i will call someone here" someguy from the back warehouse came out and just ripped open the bag and gave it to me.  i went there at 3pm haha. they can see 5.99 is overpriced. this is value village. not a comic store.

Dude, I would have just opened the bags and swapped out all the comics I didn't want for the ones I did.

man, that's what I hate to go to VV anymore, while I saw children opening the bag and playing and didn't intend to buy those. It is totally disrespect their business and people who work in there.
But what chamai was right that he asked for the help of the permission. Ususally manager said no, and means no. But while the people working in the labelling in side the storage are still there; there are always a chance.
