Decision needed for Stratospheres
I bought Stratospheres on Sunday, but wasn't quite sure if I want to keep it or not. It is something of the Robot mode that keeping me away. I like the plane mode that I can put mini OP into it. But the robot mode is like a flying chicken (difficult to put into word). So, what do you guys think of him?

I look forward to getting him as a heavily discounted shelf warmer.
I will weep no tears if that never happens.

I feel the same way, I'll get him and remove it...still looks like fun and if you think of him in size perspective he's even more fun, he's like their Omega Supreme....I think I'll call him Sky Lynx instead...

Re: Decision needed for Stratospheres
I don't hate the chicken legs. I sort of like the chicken legs.
And the retro-futurist styling is sort of attractive, really.
But it's his ginormo pontoon feet that throw me. They couldn't'a tossed in an extra joint in there or some junk?

Re: Decision needed for Stratospheres
I can't pinpoint one specific thing, but something just makes me not want to even give him a try. I think it's the combination of legs/feet/coloring/and wings that all take away from him. Could just be me though. Voyagers in general just haven't been as appealing lately as Deluxes for me.

You can't hate on a unique toy like Stratosphere. Your better off tossing a non-movie appearance toy over him. Heck, you get WST Movie Optimus Prime too.

Re: Decision needed for Stratospheres
I have mixed feelings. I really like the jet mode, even if he has 12 wheels and only 4 of them work, but I worry for his long-term stability - he's got a lot of big brittle plates with tiny little tabs. I'm not hugely fond of the robot mode lower-body articulation either, but he's got very nice aesthetics and proportions... thumbs in the middle, I guess.
He'd be way more fun with his shuttle launcher.
