Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

On my journeys today to the East side of the GTA I picked up some Wii equipment from Pickering TRU, a controller, nunchuk, Wii wheel, an energizer charger pad and the Psychotic Cyberfire Bumblebee. I had him a couple of days ago but I had to exchange him because his front grill wasn't pinned in properly and came off. Anyone else had that problem?

Then I zipped over to Zellers and picked up PCC Crankcase and Destrons on clearance because I really liked the paint scheme, we'll see if I like the toy. It gives me some combiner ability for my other two PCC's Sledge and Undertow.

I think the next step is a Convoy with doors that can open and a detailed interior!
Glad he's growing on you! Now that I have transformed him to and from alt mode, my love has grown even more. It's is a ridiculously clever toy. Half way through transformation your holding a pile of panels and pieces but it all comes together flawlessly. Mp10 is much easier to play around with and pose. I think they have actually topped mp04.

Do you let paypal handle the fees or did you pick I'm responsible for fees. I use I'm responsible and never get inflated cost. I think they had 1-3% when using USD to CAN transaction.

Somehow Paypal translated this amount to $299.37 instead of $283.76? And that's as of today, the exchange rate was even better at the moment of payment, so it was probably under $280 after shipping. I don't understand how Paypal works.

Customs: $44

Ugly, I'm telling you!

I removed the other foot light to make the toy symmetrical while I'm waiting for my replacement part.

You get invoiced by HLJ, you can't choose the gift option.

Revoltech Prime and War Machine.

These are my first Revoltechs and they're kinda cool. Prime has way too many guns but given movie Prime's psychotic nature it fits. War Machine needs a stand from something but it's pretty neat otherwise.

As for Thor...I told myself no more "human" Hot Toys as they just seem like big, expensive Barbies. I couldn't resist though as I loved the movie. I have Captain America on pre-order. Avengers!

But, smaller over priced/less cannon Optimus Primes are worth it though?. XD
