All this good weather?

Start preparing.

5 things to know about El Nino, coming to Canada this winter | Globalnews.ca

Remember the last time?

Quote:
1. The last time it was this strong was 1997-98

Remember the ice storm that devastated eastern Ontario and Quebec in January 1998? It’s generally believed that the strong El Nino set up conditions for that. It’s not that you can point to it and say, “This was El Nino.” But the moisture that was needed to feed such a system was there — in the southern U.S. — likely due to it being such a strong El Nino year.

Did you use something to fill out the back of that Prime head? Since the botshots don't have backs for their heads?

Yep. As much as I hope we won't be getting an ice storm, with the current "Warm days, cold as hell sudden nights" it's gonna happen.

But if an ice storm like 98 hits, me and my family out here in the boonies are all prepared. I just feel bad for the poor guys who don't have a wood burning fireplaces/stoves. When I was a kid in the ice storm, the ugly woodburning stove we had in our basement in Pincourt saved our asses for 3 weeks when we had no power when it came to cooking and keeping us all warm.

I also feel bad for the guys who did buy my old pincourt house 10 years ago. Last time I passed by, they ripped out the wood burning stove and chimney. RIP you poor bastards if an ice storm hits.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

Spoke to a dep girl about the weather we're having now and compared it to the one we had back in 98'. I asked how it was back then in our area since I grew up closer to the city rather than here.

"I don't know/can't remember I was born in 91'."

started to feel my hair become grayer.

Yeah. We had nights were I smoke outside and it feels more like spring time then others it feels more what we're suppose to have.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

It was the 2nd biggest 1 day pop culture convention of it's kind, the only other one is MTL mini comic con, but they didn't have the stuff WE did

Everyone was extremely happy, we got over 2000 people, and it was amazing.

Next up High Score Con in June
