Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread
For the life of me, I can't remember one damn place I use to hang out back when I was single.
The reason for the post was a younger friend mentioned Sharx. As a Corcordia student, I added that place in my schedule. LOL. Right after a long Accounting.
- Sharx.
- That rooftop club on Place Ville Marie.
- That other rooftop club with a pool, I think it's near Drummond or the street after. I remember the street starting with D.
- That pool hall in chinatown. You can get a pretty decent challenge in there on a daily basis. I'd be very surprised if that place is still open.
That's it for now. I remember every arcade I use to hang in but not the clubs, bars, pool halls etc. LOL

I looked up most of them. 737 closed for bit then reopened but de la Montagne's La Terrace Magnetic has completely closed it's doors.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread
Or he's getting too old. There's a number of hot spots.
Mckibbins Ladie's night,
Manoir's for a slower pace,
The lab for a more expensive and sophisticated crowd, asians too!
H2 for Japanese gals,
Peel pub for some decency,
Tonic for the occasional sporty gal,
Scratch for bar fights,
foufs for easy "Emo/metal" gals, invaded by douchebagery as of late.
But the prime place is St-Sulpice, you'll find a plethora of easy french white gals. Laughably easy, just pick em wisely or wear two to three condoms.
No wonder people come here from Toronto, I don't miss being single!

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread
While everybody's talking about drinking im just sitting at home. No money for booze nor do I want to test my limits of alcohol consumption in public as I don't know what kind of drunk I am. (Plus im a girl, Im rather paranoid of those bar-creeps X_X .)
But when it comes to japanese street food, Im always down for Takoyaki. omg I looooove that stuff.

Nothing wrong with living a humbled life. Im 25 and i never got into the clubbing lifestyle. Tried it, got bored quick and its so expensive!!!!! Besides, theres too much testosterone flying around for my tastes, and im quick to anger, so i try to avoid confrontation. I'd rather spend the night hanging with some friends at a nice restaurant talking, or indoors with my girlfriend.
Ahhh, come to think of it, I miss Tfcon now
