Re: How Much Do You Spend on Collecting?
When I started out collecting toys back in 2005, I was doing around $1k per month for a while.
Things dwindled down over the years, but I think if you average it out, I'm at $100-200 per month, I think?... I really don't buy much nowadays...

100-200/month. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It will quiet down now for awhile as I put money away for TFCon and the fact there is nothing new coming out that I need.

Re: How Much Do You Spend on Collecting?
About $250 a month if I were to average it out over the year.
Some months are more expensive just due to stuff being released.
I don't see myself spending much over the next few months though. With C.H.U.G. going dormant for awhile and pretty much having all my immediate "Wants" from older lines like G1 and Gobots, I'm in a good place for collecting right now. I'll probably only end up grabbing 6-10 figures from DOTM total.
I save most of my spending now for the conventions, really looking forward to TFcon since I don't have anything I'm really dying to find. It's going to be more of "Whatever strikes my fancy" vs. trying to find pieces to complete my "Wants".

Re: How Much Do You Spend on Collecting?
$50-60 every 2-3 months. I usually wait for figures of interest to go on sale.

Re: How Much Do You Spend on Collecting?
I wait for sales, but since I also go after G1 stuff online now and then, and some classics...I dunno..maybe average out to $200 per month since all these universe 2.0 RTS have been coming out.
It'll probably get down to about $100 a month once the movie line comes out. I'm not really into the movie stuff.

Re: How Much Do You Spend on Collecting?
Also, the biggest contributing factor to my spending is all the awesome 3rd Party stuff that's been coming out in the past year or so...

Re: How Much Do You Spend on Collecting?
Changes depending on what is out vs. what I want/am looking for. Some months it's a couple hundred, other months I might pick up a Legend class or two. With DotM coming out right away, i'm buying pretty much everything I want from the line (which isn't much) when it goes on sale.
I also have to factor in if there's a convention happening or not. At the Pop Culture Fair I spent more than I was planning, simply because the deal was too good. G1 Swindle in better shape with both guns and less sticker wear than the one I have for only 10$? Done! Fellow Edmonton boardie suddenly having a surplus Generations Warpath? Also done!
I guess what i'm saying is there are alot of factors to include, so it's near impossible to predict a total, or even an average.
