Weird, didn't know that Canada Post was delivering all week.
Sad about Paul Walker. I think it's kind of ironic, but yeah, jokes aren't appropriate. It's sad when someone goes before their time.

He was in the middle of filming F&F 7 so I wonder how they're going to work around that...it was looking like a fun film, with the addition of Jason Statham, and Tony Jaa, and I heard maybe Kurt Russell.

I guess it depends on how far they're into filming. If they've got most done, with so many films already in the franchise, I bet there's lots of unused footage. Mix that with computers, maybe they'll be able to patch him into the movie and give him a bad ass send off.
If it's not enough to finish the film, maybe write him out of the film early and replace him.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
SHOE WHORE, I NEED YOUR HELP.
lol
How is the fit for New Balance 574s... snug? If my regular shoe size is 9.5 will that be good? I usually go down to 9 for Vans and up to 10 for boots, so I'm kind of unsure.
I'm debating between the maroon or brown of these babies:
I kinda like the look of the brown more, but on the other hand, I don't have any maroon/burgundy shoes yet, and I like the contrast of the brown on red. And I already have brown suede shoes. I guess I should get burgundy.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Show Whore here!
NB runners/sneakers tend to fit wider in the forefoot area, but the good thing with NB as a shoe maker is that they also have different last for different width (standard "D" width and wide "2E" width). Kind of like fitting the right bra cup size
Here's more info if you haven't checked it out already

As for colour, I think while brown shoes are more classic, versatile and ages better over time, burgundy red makes a bolder statement. So why not have some fun?

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Thank you, o wise one.
Good point, burgundy is more bold! And I'm quite partial to the subtle red/navy combo it has, as well as the brown of course. I think I can safely order 9.5s then. I did have a chance to try on a different set of NBs in-store in size 10 and they could have been a bit more snug.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Yeah, 15% off everything at the NB store, but still more expensive than buying elsewhere online. Urban Outfitters had the Canteen pack ones I was looking at, and their Cyber Monday sale is pretty good. $15 off a $75 order shipped for free is not a bad deal for Canada. So I got them for $60 shipped. Now we'll see if I get screwed on duties.
