I'd say go for the YOTH because of its personal significance. The MP10 mold is fantastic, regardless of blinged out grills or see through trailers.
Sorry, but that pic reminded me of a news headline I read yesterday: "Justin Beiber jumps off cliff".

All I could think of was "Thank dog! It's about bloody time!"

*Too bad that I also noticed the pic attached to the news headline with Beiber in a swimsuit and water below.

That's good advice - I collect Tiger stuff because I'm Year of the Tiger.

On the YOTH OP, the only thing I don't get is the clear trailer. Should have been painted gold (not chrome per se, but maybe a flatter metallic gold).

Hahaha I remember when we used to do like a carrot peeling motion with our fingers and that was supposed to mean you had a crush on someone. I have no idea how that makes sense but that's what it was. 80s/90s were the best. I'm lucky that I'm old enough to remember the end of the 80s but got the best of the 90s too. Good times.

lol 'thank dog'.

And my sealed bottle of 18 year old Dalmore. I only had a sample of it.

And watches! I love them, but it's rather impractical for me to wear a fine watch. I check out my watches my VP wears and he has a nice collection of Breitling.
Wine, yeah...haha I can't get into that. I appreciate the taste of wine but I could never see myself spending big money on alcohol. It's meant to be imbibed, like TFs are meant to be Transformed.

Yeah I wear a janky old/new Casio to work because I don't want anything else getting scratched. It only cost 20 bucks so who cares if it gets smashed. And it's still a classic too so I got the retro even when I'm slumming it. My 'nice' watch is a Timex. Nothing special, but still a classic. Next step up is going to be a Seiko 5 because I'm fascinated by mechanical watches and an automatic seems really cool. Seikos are pretty affordable and the right one looks classy, and they still have some history to them so it's good enough for me. But if I was living out my dreams I'd get a nice Longines pilots' watch like the one Charles Lindbergh designed. Now that's classy!

Reminds of another Bieber-centric fantasy moment that I wished was reality

My parents gifted me this Seamaster after our daughter was born in 2010. It's the first extravagant gift I received from them (and anyone for that matter). It's a lot more comfortable to wear everyday than you think but then again I work at a desk job. Earlier this month I picked up a used Planet Ocean as a gift to myself for my 40th. Took a few days to get used to the bigger sized watch face but now it's officially my everday watch.

And no, its not a coincidence that both watches are worn by James Bond in Casino Royale.

The YOTH will be cooler in person than that fuzzy screencap suggests.

I will personally help you find one.

No one should go KO for MP10...not on my watch <pun intended>.

Oh, niiiice. That Collection Seamaster looks great. Awesome with the 007 tie-in too. If I had the dough I'd track down some pop culture pieces too. Marty McFly's Nikes (from Part I) and a high quality Raiders Fedora. Heck yeah. I could go get Marty's watch if I wanted, I guess. Calculator watch, booyah!

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

I am totally horny for this Titanium Seamaster. I love the navy blue more than the black. I work at a desk job too but I don't have a car and I just don't feel comfortable wearing a fancy watch on a stinking bus or train. Besides my priority right now is to save up enough down payment to buy a home for myself.

^ That is nice.

Yes, I'm very lucky to be able to afford our mortgage, 3 kids and treat myself every now and then (it's been months since my last TF buy).

Mind you we rarely eat out, don't have cable, own one (paid off) vehicle and don't really have a social life but I figure that'll all come back in 15+ years...

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Makes sense. House is more important than bling! That's another nice watch though. Diver watches are pretty popular these days. I always was a bit atypical with my tastes. Not that it compares, but here's the Seiko I've been eyeing for almost a year now.

Haha you keep scaring me with all this talk of taking care of the kids, JJ. But yeah, I guess the free time and social life would return eventually.

But I'm nowhere near where you guys are. I'm still several months away from paying off my student loans. Then maybe real adult life can start.
