Am I the only one that absolutely hates MP Megatron?

I have been trying for 5 days to get the damned thing transformed into gun mode. Now, i'd pay money just to get it into any mode, one way or the other. Everytime you try and do anything with it, pieces come flying off and i'm apparently a complete idiot but despite what the instructions are telling me to do, my figure doesn't seem to want to bend that way.

I am so frustrated with this thing right now that i'm past the point of enjoying it.

I don't have this figure but I think I remember why now, you aren't the first to have this problem. I know this may not be something a TF fan may want to admit to doing but there is an instructional youtube clip on how to transform him.

Re: Am I the only one that absolutely hates MP Megatron?

Mine broke trying to make him stand up, he kept falling over side to side and his waist clip broke so he falls backwards unless I wire his waist together.
The other thing I hate about this figure is why make all this articulation if the figure can't hold its arms/body/legs up on its own ?

P.S.
I never even bothered to transform him - I'd probably end up throwing him through a wall.

Okay. I've managed to get him back into Robot mode atleast. Almost lost one screw in the process but thankfully found it. I caught another screw starting to come out as well. Quality is an issue here.

I'm going to set him up next to MP Prime and back away slowly for the time being. Maybe i'll bring him to botcon so someone with a higher geek quota than I can show me how to transform him properly.

Yeah...its a kool toy but damn - the most annoying thing to transform. I already broke off a very very small plastic tab needed for gun mode. But its not like I am going to transform him ever again.

Oh and the ***rusting*** on the feet and spine. Known problem. So much fun.

Unfortunately in recent lines, most TF instructions will break your Transformer if you follow them exactly.

Re: Am I the only one that absolutely hates MP Megatron?

I love the thing, got it transformed to gun mode for the first time last week. Took awhile the only thing that got me frustrated for a bit was aligning the arm part(back of gun up) then it was fine. Its kinda big for a gun but still looks pretty damn good. But I think its better suited as a robot mode display piece.
