Bot bots

What are they? I've seen them for sale at Wal-Mart, but I wasn't sure what they were really. Are they Transformers with two modes and that take multiple moves to transform them like a lot of other Transformer figures?

Re: Bot bots

They're tiny little things.
Imagine if transformers ate food, and that food transformed.

Re: Bot bots

They're basically little gachapon figures with simple transformations.

Re: Bot bots

Yeah I googled them to get an idea and noticed they turn into more of a variety of things like plastic food items and video game controls so I'm thinking I'll buy a few.

Re: Bot bots

They actually had a game as part of the concept...similar to 'scissors paper rock'. the idea is that you choose which move to make by flipping a little panel in their chest, then crash them together with a buddy to reveal your answer, and find out if you won. In a tie (i.e. both chose scissors) the bots had power values that determined the winner.

Honestly it was kinda fun. Most transformed with legs flipping down and arms popping out, but some had some neat things like spinning around and stuff.

Any way that was the deal...

Isn't that the Bot Shots line? Never heard of that for the bot bots.

I collected most of them up to season 3, after that most retail stores didn't carry much season 4 or 5.
