Was able to convince a Chinese seller to break up a Buster Prime (faceplate version) + Jetfire 2-pack just to get the Prime for $80 shipped (50+30), which is less than what I paid for my first issue Buster Prime (mouth version). I got the idea when I saw one of his potential bidders asking if he could get just the Jetfire. 2 happy customers now!

Oh, I forgot about an old one of mine.

When I started actively collecting TFs back in late 2005 when Cybertron was around: Zellers had a "buy one get the second (cheaper) one for half price" sale.

n00b cashier on duty. I bring up Cybertron Scourge, scans at $40 (Ultra-class) as usual. I bring up Cybertron Megatron, scans at $60-ish (Leader-class) as usual. I point out the sale. The employee thinks for a bit. Deletes the second item (Megatron), re-scans it, and manually enters a price modification of half price... half of the Scourge price ($20)! And this is all without having the sale/promotion mentioned on the receipt at all! So a few days later, I brought the MISB Scourge back for a refund, and I kept the $20 Megatron.

Nice score! I haven't been that lucky buying TF's only food for some reason. Except I just got a Classics Hot Rod for 42 bucks on ebay, considering what they're going for right now I'd say that's a good deal. A better deal would've been when they were in stores, lol. We'll see how good it is when I get it but it looked nice in the photos.
