Re: Michael Bay To Handover The Transformers Movies To A New Director?
It won't change much.
The franchise will only change after it nuked the fridge like Batman & Robin and Day Another Day did to Batman and Bond. Only then will the studio (and Hasbro) give it a break. Then we may - just may - get a new direction and reboot like Batman Begins and Casino Royale.
Doubt it though.
Honestly I could care less if the TF movies are shit as long as I get some good toys. ROTF was absolute waste of my time and money but I just love the pain in butt transformation of the toys we got back then. Now all have are the dumbest of TF designs in years.

I don't think he will. He said this last time but his ego wouldn't allow it.

The series needs a reboot. Batman Begins was the 1st Batman movie, Amazing Spiderman was the 1st Spiderman movie. Took some duds to get there in both cases. High time "the Transformers" comes out.

The first Spider-Man movie was epic?
Broke down so many demographical barriers.
Amazing Spider-Man just feel tired even if its a better film.

This could actually be bad news, especially if they decide to keep it in the same universe and not to re-boot.

That and it wouldn't make any difference unless he stops producing them as well.
