Lest we forget, TRU.ca puts items up one case or two at a time for immediate sale from the warehouse... at least I half believe that BS reason could be real given how often something goes out of stock within moments and then occasionally goes live again once or twice before a line wide end.

My original order that became a backorder has become cancelled due to stock =(...That was a long wait and being transferred from one CSR to another.

Was advised to provide order number and get a raincheck smh...I can't wait to have that discussion with in store.

Turns out I only got 2 since 1 became backordered (twin twist) so I only used my raincheck. However, the manager at Anjou toyrus lets me use the coupons on raincheck items. The coupon scans, there is no block in their system so I guess they figure why not. And its not like TRU loses any money, they just tally up how much hasbro owes them.

I am pretty convinced these coupons are a Hasbro Canada response to the higher prices on a lot of their products which were initially thought up when the exchange was way worse.
